Charter Boat - Thunder Bay
Cruise and/or fish the waters off Thunder Bay, the Sleeping Giant and the Welcome Islands for great Chinook salmon, rainbow trout and lake trout. You bring warm clothing, snacks, cooler, camera and sunglasses - the ice, tackle and rods are supplied.
Boarding: at Prince Arthur's Landing, Pier 3 (main commercial boat pier). Weather permitting.
Vessel: 30 foot Bay Liner equipped with cannon downriggers, planer boards, dipsy divers, Loran-C radar, depth finder and GPS mapping. Captain Hoogsteen has 25 years experience in fishing for salmon, rainbow and lake trout on Lake Superior. The vessel is Transport Canada approved with all safety equipment necessary - licensed and insured.
Dates: Spring to Fall
Sample Rates (2008):
$450 CAN + 5% GST- up to 6 hrs. (early morning or evening generally) - 1 or 2 anglers.

$50 per person for each additional angler or sightseer.
Capacity - 6 anglers or sightseers.
$100 deposit to secure booking - refunded only if trip cancelled due to weather and cannot be rescheduled.
Full payment due 45 days in advance or at time of booking.
Notes: Ontario Fishing licenses required as well.
Catering packages and overnight trips arranged upon request.
