On-site hiking trails and cross-country ski trails make this location a four season destination. Canoe and mountain bike rentals can be arranged at the Lodge and premier green spaces and attractions are found within a 20-45 minute drive. After an active day, cook up a gourmet lakeside meal in your fully outfitted kitchen or deck barbeque.

Some of Ontario’s finest provincial parks  are close – Quetico, Sleeping Giant, Kakabeka and Ouimet Canyon. Other attractions not to miss - amethyst mines, Eagle Canyon and its two suspension bridges (Canada's longest footbridge!), Fort William Historical Park, rural, historical and children's museums, the Thunder Bay Art Gallery and nearby Eagle Ridge Trout Ponds, a wonderful family activity.
