Larger cruiseships visit Lake Superior - in recent years, the Clelia II, the Orion, the Grand Mariner and the M.S. Columbus. The limitation is the Welland Canal and the Soo Locks - only ships of a certain width can navigate through the locks to enter into the waters of Lake Superior.
