Vessel: 30 foot aluminum hulled boat fully equipped with the latest radar, depth finders, GPS equipment,etc. Captain Brennan has been fishing the scenic islands and shoreline of Black Bay Peninsula on Lake Superior for over 35 years and has a well-kept fishing lodge on Moss Island just off the shore of the mainland peninsula (30 miles south of Nipigon dock by water).
The islands of Superior offer some of the finest scenery in the country that can be captured on film. Captain Brennan is well known in the Nipigon community and can offer guests a real glimpse of entrepreneurship in a Northern Ontario community. For those staying at the fishing lodge, there are smaller runabouts available.
Captain Gary Lange has a 30 ft water taxi and 45 ft trawler which are licensed by the Department of Transport to carry 8 to 10 passengers.
Bowman Island Charters can take you to a remote lodge on Bowman Island. Bowman Island is just off the south shore of Saint Ignace Island, which is centered in the new Lake Superior Marine Conservation Area on the north shore of Lake Superior. The only access to the lodge is by water or air. He also operates a water taxi service.
